Post-screening Q&A discussion with Director Thomas Bena via Skype

The documentary One Big Home will be screened as part of the Sustainability Film Series at Chatham Orpheum Theater on January 5 in partnership with Sustainable Practices. This film, twelve years in the making, follows one carpenter's journey to understand the trend toward giant houses. When he feels complicit in wrecking the place he calls home, Thomas Bena takes off his tool belt and picks up a camera. Bumping up against angry homeowners and builders who look the other way, he works with his community and attempts to pass a new bylaw to limit house size.

After the viewing of the documentary, there will be a question-and-answer period featuring the film's Director Thomas Bena who will join in the discussion via Skype.
