Post-screening discussion

Thomas Bena's documentary One Big Home will be screened as part of the MODHomes Realty Architecture Movie Series on November 6 at 7pm at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema.

Gentrification comes in many forms. On the tiny island of Martha's Vineyard, where presidents and celebrities vacation, trophy homes threaten to destroy the island's unique character. Twelve years in the making, One Big Home follows one carpenter's journey to understand the trend toward giant houses. When he feels complicit in wrecking the place he calls home, Thomas Bena takes off his tool belt and picks up a camera.

Doors open at 6:30pm, shows at 7pm. There are only 100 seats - so come early. After each movie, door prizes!

This movie series is sponsored by Sarah Sonke with ModHomes Realty and other sponsors including NCSU Libraries, in situ studio.
