Post-screening Q&A with the director, Thomas Bena, via Skype from Martha's Vineyard

One Big Home will be screened as part of the Barrington Public Library's documentary film series on December 11 at 6:30pm. This film explores gentrification and how trophy homes are threatening to destroy the unique character of Martha's Vineyard. Filmmaker Thomas Bena takes off his tool beltĀ and picks up a camera when he feels complicit in wrecking the place he calls home. Bumping up against angry homeowners and builders who look the other way, he works with his community and attempts to pass a new bylaw to limit house size.

Filmmaker Thomas Bena will participate in a post-screening Q&A discussion via Skype from Martha's Vineyard.
