Post-screening Q&A discussion featuring Thomas Bena, the filmmaker of One Big Home

Malama Manoa is excited to host a free screening of the documentary, One Big Home. This film is a timely parallel to the problem many communities here in Hawaii, especially residents of Oahu, are experiencing with the construction of "Monster Houses."

From Bena: "...Watching similar battles take place all over the country, I’ve learned that what at first appears to be a local battle is in fact a national movement. I have come to believe that every community has a responsibility to determine its own destiny. If they don't, the speculators will. ..."

Thomas Bena will be introducing the film and leading a discussion following the screening. Bena welcomes voices and perspectives from all sides of the conversation. The evening promises to be both educational and inspirational.
