Post-screening Q&A discussion featuring Leslie Weisman from Southold Town ZBA and others from the community

The Orient Association and East Marion Civic Association will screen the documentary One Big Home on January 20 at 2pm in Poquatuck Hall. This film, twelve years in the making, follows one carpenter's journey to understand the trend toward giant houses. When he feels complicit in wrecking the place he calls home, Thomas Bena takes off his tool belt and picks up a camera. Bumping up against angry homeowners and builders who look the other way, he works with his community and attempts to pass a new bylaw to limit house size.

After the viewing of the documentary, there will be a question-and-answer period with a few local architects and town officials, including Leslie Weisman from Southold Town ZBA.
