Amazing Earthfest presents Plastic Paradise

Tuesday, May 12, 5:00 PM
Crescent Moon Theater, Kanab, UT

Thousands of miles away from civilization, Midway Atoll is in one of the most remote places on earth yet it is ground zero for the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, siphoning plastics from three distant continents. Meet scientists, researchers and volunteers who shed light on the effects of unchecked consumption. Learn why the problem is more insidious than we could ever have imagined. Uncover the unexpected economic and ecological facets of plastic pollution and ways we can minimize our plastic footprint.
